Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia

Il corso si propone di indagare tre forme esemplari di esperienza estetica, a partire dalle filosofia di Emilio Garroni, John Dewey e Hans Robert Jauss. Questi tre paradigmi mettono in rilievo rispettivamente il tratto riflessivo, quello interattivo e quello comunicativo o catartico dell'esperienza estetica. Obiettivo del corso è ricavare da essi uno spettro di significati che l'esperienza estetica può ricevere, con lo scopo di pensare questa componente dell'esperienza umana anche oltre la sfera dell'arte, nei nuovi fenomeni dell'estetizzazione diffusa.

The course aims at investigating three exemplary forms of aesthetic experience, starting with the philosophy of Emilio Garroni, John Dewey and Hans Robert Jauss. These three paradigms emphasize respectively the reflecting, the interactive and the communicational or cathartic trait of the aesthetic experience. The goal is to draw from them a range of meanings the aesthetic experience can assume, having in mind how this component of the human experience may apply to the new phenomena of the expanded aesthetics, beyond art.
