Global Humanities: beginning of the second set of lectures Friday, April 8th
Dear Friends, as you all know, I’ll be your instructor fo the second part of the 19th and 20th century art history course. Below you’ll find a short outline of the course and some info: please, be aware that we shall use a new zoom link, different from the one that you used with professor Leuzzi
Art since 1945
The course is meant to provide a historical and methodological introduction to the main issues of art in the second half of 20th century, of its relationship with other arts and with the general historical context. Movements such as Abstract Expressionism, Informel, Neo Dada, Pop Art, Minimalism, Post-Minimalism, Land art, Conceptual Art will be discussed.
Lectures will be held un Monday and Friday 11.00 – 13.00
Classroom: Aula B ex Dip.to Storia Medievale III floor (the same used by professor Laura Leuzzi)
Lectures will be held in presence, in streaming and they will be recorded.
